Your library stays in your browser

Keep What Matters stores your bookmarks and related notes in your browser's local storage. The service does not operate a server-side account database for your bookmark library.

Extension access

When you click the Keep What Matters extension, it reads the title and URL of the active webpage so it can open the capture form with those fields filled in. It does not continuously monitor browsing activity.

Data sharing

Keep What Matters does not sell your data or share your bookmark library with advertisers or data brokers.

Your control

You can edit, archive, export, import, or remove saved information using the application. Clearing the application's site data in your browser will remove its locally stored library unless you have exported a backup.
